Research DescriptionProfessor Alagona's research focuses on the histories of land use, natural resource management, environmental politics, and ecological science in the North American West and beyond. I have a particular interest in endangered species and biological diversity. |
BiographyAfter receiving his doctorate, Professor Alagona served for two years as an Environmental Fellow in the Center for the Environment and John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He also worked for one year as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Bill Lane Center for the American West at Stanford University. He joined the faculty of UCSB in the summer of 2009. |
