Biography

Professor King was on the faculty of the Department of Soil, Water and Climate and the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior (joint appointment) at the University of Minnesota before coming to UCSB in 2008. Her research in environmental change and the biogeochemical cycling of carbon and nitrogen will add strength to an already strong concentration and growing presence in climate and environmental science across campus in EEMB, Environmental Studies, Earth Science, and Bren, among others.
